  1. Travel grants

Junior Members can be supported for expenses during their training periods abroad. The application has to be addressed to the President, sent to the Scientific Secretary and must be supported by three Ordinary or Honorary Members (who fulfilled the social fee; names and signatures are requested).

The application should include:

A call is provided twice per year. The applications are evaluated by the SIB Board during the meetings of February and September.

The amount of contribution is established annually by the SIB Board.

  1. Awards

SIB supports two awards:

  1. SIB medal, for an outstanding young researcher

  2. Heritage Pride, for the best publication of the year to an early career stage investigator.
